Serge Lutens — Five O'Clock Au Gingembre
Decanting from 2011 bottle (exactly like the one on the image).
Tea at Buckingham Palace — if the guest of honor was candied ginger wearing white gloves. Bergamot and black tea open clean and civilized before a warm, spiced ginger heart takes over, cinnamon weaving through like steam off a just-poured cup. The base turns richer and darker — cacao, honey, patchouli, and amber — giving it a quiet gourmand depth that keeps it from being merely pretty. Unisex, cozy, and one of the most universally loved fragrances in the house. An excellent entry point into Lutens.
Notes:
Top notes: Tea, Bergamot
Middle notes: Candied Ginger, Cinnamon, Woodsy Notes
