Serge Lutens — Fleurs D'Oranger
Decanting from 2014 bottle (exactly like the one on the image).
The reference orange blossom perfume — but not the clean, bridal kind. This is the real thing: narcotic, indolic, slightly animalic, built from orange blossom, jasmine, and Indian tuberose pushing against each other at full volume. The cumin is the note that makes or breaks it — dirty and faintly sweaty, it gives the white florals a raw, sun-drenched heat that smells like Morocco rather than a wedding. Those who get it tend to call it a masterpiece. Those who don't will call it something else. A decant before committing is strongly advised — but if it works on your skin, nothing else will do.
Notes:
Top notes: Orange Blossom, Jasmine, Citrus Peel
Middle notes: Indian Tuberose, White Rose, Hibiscus, Nutmeg
Base notes: Cumin, Civet, Musk, Woody Notes
